Looks like our tiny arsonist isn’t the only one getting something out of all this!
I have to be honest with you – I have NO idea how ready I’m going to be for both Thursday and next Monday. So, just to play it safe, I’m going to call a skipped Thursday, and I’ll have the next page ready a week from now.
Goddamned out-of-town weddings!
Closing thursday?
Why?
No time to draw in school?
Oh, school’s closed?
Why?
Arsonists???
Ugh, damn!
Take your time, your hands are more important than your readers entertainment.!
That little kid, and dozens of his schoolmates, are going to be very disappointed when the district relocates them all into other school buildings within a week 🙁
But meanwhile, this fire seems to be producing *plenty* of smoke, which is what Demonkitty needs! Lots and lots of smoke, to carry him high enough, and keep him up there long enough, to say hi to Angelkitty, and maybe even start a conversation with her!
Or to rise a tad too high, while the thermals blow her cloud away from his position….
Then he continues to rise, until the ISS, or another plane (he gets tired too!) smacks him off the cloud again.
This is a neverending part of the story. You can extend it as long as you find new, humourous ways to kindle a fire and bring Demonkitten some smoke.
I’m pretty sure if I stretch out the will-he-won’t-he part of the story for longer than six months, my readers will rise up and kill me. 😉
Oh, it won’t take anywhere *near* that long… 😀
Dang, I really live in the wrong places.
For some weird forum game, I wanted to know how easily this webcomic could be found when I give hints to be able to find it….
And googling your name, I found that you just had a meet’n’greet kind of thing at the Charles M. Schulz (Peanuts) museum…. (http://www.sonomauncorked.com/wine-country-events/art-events/cartoonist-audrey-soffa-at-charles-m-schulz-museum/)
How did that go? I missed any announcement you possibly made on this site…..
Yeah, this comic isn’t actually the easiest to find without searching my name directly. “Chat” is a common word on the internet in general, so half the hits you get aren’t even comic-related. As for the Charles Schulz thing? Honestly, I didn’t think anyone who read this thing lived close enough to attend. I should have been more diligent reminding folks, but I DID mention it here – https://chat.thebunnysystem.com/2013/02/21/chapter-1-page-19/ – and I think I mentioned it in the LJ as well.
Well, I do not have an LJ journal, and I around page 19 I did not read all comments. Actually, if I remember correctly, for a while I did not read any webcomics at all, and only later I started toc atch up (skipping any author’s notes).
But I answered the day after publication.
So, my fault.
Mea culpa. Mea culpa maxima!
I am so sorry.
Anyway, like you guessed, I indeed live too far away to could have attended. I simply live in the wrong place. Although my home town does get a new museum soon. Modern art thing. Private collection going public….
And a research institute will leave. my village in exchange for Amsterdam. That simply sounds more mundane than the name of my village….
