Sorry I’ve been getting in kind of late with the comic lately, but hey, I promised Thursday! Also, I’m experimenting with smaller type that allows me to fit more words per panel. It looks okay to me, but if anyone is having trouble reading this page, please say something.
Finally, we have NAMES for our little pair of inamorata! And it only took two and a half chapters! Not like most of you didn’t call it in advance. The only thing that could make this scene more adorable would be, possibly, a romantic banjo-ukelele serenade. Ace, you take requests? 😉
Comic Monday, a special piece of Halloween art on Thursday, and if there’s no update the following Monday that means someone probably murdered me on my vacation to New Orleans!
Wow, that was FUN to read.
I laughed.
“C’est votre couleur naturelle?! Oh! Désolé!”
yes, his name is Demonchat.
And she’s rather innocent, isn’t she?
Not for long, I suspect….
also: Mondo! you romantic!
Also a bit mysterious since he suddenly knows English and French, huh? 😉
Mondo – whose very name means “world” – probably knows quite a few languages; but, precisely because he is so cosmopolitan, he prefers the “international” language, Esperanto. It’s not his fault that it isn’t nearly as “international” as it’s supposed to be…
AAAAAWWWWW!!! Young love, so inept but so sweet!
Hmmm… I think an appropriate serenade for them would be the Beatles’ “Michelle” (http://www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/beatles/michelle.html):
“…I will say the only words I know that you’ll understand, my Michelle.”
I think I’m going to have to learn a few more chords first – no problem 🙂
Sorry this isn’t a direct response to your earlier comment, but congratulations on your successful musical performance!
Thanks! (You can leave comments in my LJ – Krulle did, and he doesn’t even *have* an LJ.) I was really happy with the way things went, and I’m trying to think of other songs I can play with the three chords I already know. So far, I’ve come up with “I Wanna Be Sedated”, the Grateful Dead’s “Ripple”, and “Teen Angel” 🙁 “Michelle” has more chords in it, which I’ll have to learn – but it’s *SO* appropriate for Demonchat’s situation!
