LET THE GAMES BEGIN! Told ya she was up to no good. 🙂
Yeah, I got stuck for a while there, but the storyboard situation is more or less figured out, and I think I’ll be okay for at least the next few weeks. After that, well, I’ll deal with when I get there.
Next comic Thursday unless something horrible happens, as it usually does!
EDIT: Well, I wouldn’t count falling asleep at my worktable as “horrible”, per se, but it did leave me several hours behind. So, this thing will most likely instead update Thursday EVENING. Or very, very, very very very EARLY Friday morning.
Also Ace, hope your dental procedure went OK! Sorry there’s no new comic yet, but hey, maybe the sedatives haven’t worn off yet and I still have time. 😉
I got the impression earlier that Ange could move very fast, and we already know that she can fly while lifting Demon. Furthermore, she seems to have powers that she doesn’t even know about until she uses them – and Lolo doesn’t know about them either. Maybe they can “lose” Lolo by making her chase them through the Pits – this one’s diesel fuel, that one’s raw sewage, another one’s sufuric acid, and the next one is melted butter…
VERY glad to see the new post today! I hope Halloween inspires you!
The Pits? I though they were the Pools…
You’re probably right. I wrote that in the middle of the night… I woke up to use the bathroom, and, as usual, stopped to check my email, and discovered that there was a new episode of Chat, so of course I left a comment. Except I wasn’t awake enough to search back through the archives for what those pools/pits full of random liquids were called.
I’ve got dental surgery in a few hours, but I can console myself with the thought that, whatever they do to me, it can’t possibly be as bad as what’s going through Lolo’s mind here…
short version: it didn’t happen, the dentist told me a huge lie to try to scare me into more expensive work, and I need to find a new dentist on Wednesday.
As it turns out, I’m seeing a better dentist on Friday morning – I need to get up in about seven hours. He probably won’t do anything except take x-rays and give me some new antibiotic to take until he actually does the work (a couple of days from now at the very least). Then I come home and start handing out candy to Disney princesses and random sports dudes. (Last year I fell asleep between trick-or-treaters, and I’ve got an even better excuse this year.) And then, when even the teenagers have gone home, I’ll celebrate Samhain… I lost a few really good friends this year.
