Chapter 6, Page 24on May 7, 2015 at 10:24 am
She may be adorable, but good LORD is she a messy eater!
WOO! That is that fastest paint job I’ve ever done on a page – seven hours! It sounds like a lot, but seeing as it’s the kind of thing that normally takes a couple of days, that is DANG quick. However, it does mean that I skimped a little on my post-production and let my scanner handle the color modulation, so sorry if it looks a little funny. Also it means I’m going to bed at 3:30 a.m. I don’t regret it, but I am getting a little old for this!
See you next Thursday! EDIT: Make that Thursday evening. I’ve been painting for hours but it’s already one A.M. and I don’t feel so good. Let’s see if I can knock this out after I’ve had some sleep.
That’s not like any watermelon I’ve ever heard of, but if Ange likes it, it must be good! Demonchat, though, had better hope he runs across something else he can eat, because IIRC Ange disapproved of him eating fish – they were her friends.
And I find it adorable that the fish goes “plish”!
Nothing cuter than a minnow doing a backflip!
And just to rest your mind at ease about the fish-eating thing, 1) so far, we haven’t seen proof in this world that the fish have any measure of intelligence and 2) let’s be honest, Ange wouldn’t be with Demon if she weren’t cool with some level of moral ambiguity. 😉
True. She’d probably just make sure she wasn’t looking when Demon ate a fish, as long as it wasn’t a fish she knew personally. But if Mondo’s ice cream parlor suddenly appeared in this magical place, nobody would have to make such decisions… yet.
I get the impression that we all want Mondo back.
That we all interpret too much into Mondo, much more than Honeybun ever intended… 🙂
But what is speculation for, if not for over-inflating the importance of side characters?
Hee! Lovely fakeout with all the red! “Is Ange ok? Is she eating meat? Is she a vampire now? Oh, right, melon!”
More like: she’s bloody, yum. What a girldfriend! Oh – it’s just a melon.
Anyway: lovely page again!
Was always fond of girls with nice ripe melons. Now, time to go cut up the remaining half of the cantaloupe in the fridge…
Hi! Glad you like it!
Also, please do breathe between words, we don’t want you to hyperventilate! 🙂
Take your time, young lady.
We have as much as you need.
There is no need to overstretch yourself.
I appreciate your patience, and I honestly don’t believe y’all are that pushy at all. I am simply a person who is always on pins and needles waiting for comic updates myself, and I hate to have to impose that on another human being!
I understand your feeling.
On top of that some people know that they work better if they push themselves a bit by setting a limit date for themselves. And if that has been publicly communicated, the more pressure and the less reason to back down from the self-set target again.
